De Montfort University Leicester

19Mar2013

A donor registration event took place on the 19th March 2013 at the De Montfort University, many thanks to the Vice Chancellor Dominic Shellard for his immense support.

The event took   many weeks of planning and was done in close collaboration with the university's Mile2 (Square mile) Project. The Mile2 project is an innovative initiative to utilise the myriad of skills and abilities within the university for the benefit of the local community.

We utilised the many skills and specialisms from within campus to make the event a success, design students created publicity materials posters and flyers, others handled the photography and filming while others took responsibility for marketing and supported the media campaign... the list goes on, here are a couple of examples...

Design students produced "give a spit" posters...

Many thanks to all those really dedicated student volunteers who's enthusiasm and professionalism was truly inspiring... it was a really enjoyable day for all.
