"Driving for Charity" is an initiative which is being organised and implemented by three dedicated individuals Maninder, John and Baldev... each have been touched in some way by blood cancer and heart disease and are undertaking a marathon drive to raise awareness and increase understanding with regards to these diseases.
There will be a particular drive (no pun intended) to raise awareness of these diseases amongst minority communities and encourage them to get more involved in addressing the issues.
The three will visit notable places of interest and Gurdwara's (Sikh places of worship) en-route in order to spread their message.. fundraising will also be taking place, any monies raised will go to the Anthony Nolan Charity and the Stroke Association.
