We held a big event with Loughborough University, Loughborough Students Union and the university's Marrow Society, a very big thanks to all of them and of course to the Anthony Nolan staff who came along to help...not to be forgotten are the student and staff volunteers from the university. It was amazing. We had over 400 trained student and staff volunteers who helped sign up a record breaking 2056 lifesavers to the Anthony nolan stem cell register.
It all started many weeks prior to the event when Rik met with the University's Vice Chancellor Professor Robert Allison (Right) and Pro Vice Chancellor Steve Rothberg (Left), a very big thanks to them for their unwavering support.
